On February 5th, 2002, Linda Echols, owner of the Image Makers in Montgomery, AL, got a call in the middle of the night that she will never forget. Her hair salon had been completely gutted by a fire. Just a year later, in 2003 her operation, renamed Phoenix Salon & Spa after the mythical bird that rises from ashes. The business too rose from the ashes bigger and better. Here, Echols explains how she did it.
